Arc Nyaetuk Joins ADC, Harp On Youth Emancipation From Political Slavery

A former Governorship Aspirant, Artch Ezekiel Nyaetuk has called on political leaders in Nigeria to actively engaged the youth in the main stream of governance  to enable them become self reliance.

He made the call during an interaction with newsmen at  Social Housing Estate, Ikot Ntuen Nsit shortly after picking his membership card to officially join African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday, 14 July, 2021.

" Our youth  must be free from that  joke of slavery and we call it responsibility transfered to the youths, we want a governor that prioritizes the youth and decides that once or two times every Month he has a dialogue with the youth,  imagine a governor sitting down with the youth teaching and training them on  responsibility, talking to them about ethics, leadership, business and values and this is what I have been doing" . His words.

Nyaetuk decried the situation were youth are being servitude by political leaders for their selfish interest and constantly subjecting them to begging,  maintained that such trend as a matter of urgency needs to be discouraged to enable them maximize their God given potentials.

"Social Housing is my project, and why do I bring this up, that means God has settled me, for you as an individual to have a partnership with Federal Government and build all these houses not with government money but private that means God has blessed me but what is my conscience telling me about the youth, for instance this my boy Paul who has been with me and looking up to me, because the system that we have in Nigeria will never give Paul a chance to be a human being because the political system says that Paul must be my boy and so long as he is my boy, I will be a stupid person to empower him, so I have to create what they call 'dependency syndrome' so that he remains a professional beggar" Nyaetuk decried.

On joining African Democratic Congress,  Nyaetuk said he needed  a political party that shares the ideology of social governance and to align himself with people of like -minded to change the narrative of youth in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large.

" When I needed to join a party I considered

 1-5 things

1.

I needed a party that shares the ideology of Social governance

2.

I needed a man that was incorruptible as a national Chairman and Chief Ralph  is such a man"  Nyaetuk stated.

Arct Nyaetuk who was very optimistic of taking over the leadership mantle of Akwa Ibom  State  come 2023 opined that his wealth of experience in the Housing Sector would afford him an insight into managing the affairs of the State.

On his part, the National Chairman of African Democratic Congress, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu who was in the State to commission the party Secretariat located at Bassey Esau Street urged all to join effort with the party in building a better Nigeria free of corruption.

He said that the party will not subdue to any political influence but stand tall to deliver on its mandate of good governance and advised people to stop mortgaging their votes but rather vote their conscience.
