  The political class, ward leaders and key stakeholders of Uruan Local Government Area have chosen the Senator-Elect for Uyo Senatorial District seat, Rt. Hon Aniekan Bassey, as the new Political Leader of the area.  This was on the heels of a motion moved by Pst Favour Okokon Ekpenyong and seconded by Mr. Emmanuel Atakpo during a celebration visit to the Senator-Elect on Monday at his Osongoma residence, Uyo. According to the mover of the motion, Pst Ekpenyong, "being the highest political office holder in Uruan Local Government Area, Ward Leaders and all stakeholders deemed it fit to appoint the Senator-Elect, Rt.   The Political Stakeholders in Uyo LGA have expressed hope in the Candidature of Rt. Hon Aniekan Bassey for Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, noting that he is a man of good character and one that will attract development to the area.  They made their stance known when Rt.
