Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, has received royal blessings from the Itu Traditional Rulers’ Council (TRC) ahead of the 2023 elections. Rt. Hon. Bassey, who paid a consultative visit to the TRC at the Palace of the Paramount Ruler of Itu Local Government Area, thanked the traditional fathers for their roles in instituting peace and togetherness in their domains.
