2023: Dr. Ini Adiakpan Meets PDP Female Chapter, Ward Officers Of Esit Eket LGA....Drums Support For Umo Eno

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare in Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Ini Adiakpan has interacted  with PDP Chapter and Ward Female Officers across Esit Eket Local government Area on the need to embark on door- to- door awareness and Sensitization for their People to pick up  their  Permanent Voters Cards at the INEC Office.

The crucial meeting  which took place at Ekpene Obo in Esit Eket Local Government Area, also  afforded  the Women ample opportunity to intimate the  Commissioner of the successes recorded after her last meeting with the Women and youth of the party as well as  challenges affecting the ward, which the Commissioner addressed before the end of the Meeting.

Addressing the Women, Dr. Adiakpan sued  for peace, love  and unity in the ward while charging the women to preach the message of PDP in their diverse units.

The Commissioner maintained that with unity and sincerity  of purpose  the Women will remain resolute in mobilizing the electorate to participate massively in the forthcoming 2023 general elections .

She also  stressed the need for the Women to work in close collaboration with the youth and Elders of the Ward to secure landslide victory for PDP in all elections.

Dr. Adiakpan cautioned the women not to  yield to the antics and  enticement of the few individuals in the   opposition parties, emphasizing that no political party in the State has the best reward system like PDP.

" If you take a look at the few persons championing the cause of opposition, you will notice that they are people who have benefitted hugely from PDP  government. So, don't be disturbed about  their defection because they will  never have the kind of support structure we have on ground. Therefore, their noise should not bother you. It is our Votes that will silent them," the Commissioner stated.

While thanking the Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel and his wife,  Dr. Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel for their magnanimity and benevolence to Esit Eket Local Government Area, Dr. Adiakpan charged the people to remain loyal  to the present administration and work assiduously towards the success of the completion agenda and succession project.

Responding onbehalf of PDP Women Officers, the  PDP Deputy Chapter Chairman  of Esit Eket, Mrs Ekaette Abia appreciated the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare and Social Welfare, Dr. Ini Adiakpan for institĆŗting regular interface with Women of the Party and ensuring that the Women of Esit Eket are adequately sensitized and mobilized to Vote for all PDP Candidates during the 2023 General elections.

The Deputy Chapter Chairman who was visibly elated about the thoughtfulness of Dr. Ini Adiakpan in strengthening the Women Structure of the Party at the grassroots, stressed the need for holistic reconciliation of some aggrieved Members of the Party in order to prevent them from being wooed by the opposition Members whose intention is to swell their empty structure in Esit Eket Local Government Area.

Also Speaking, the Chapter Woman  Leader of PDP in Esit Eket, Mrs Mercy Tito assured the Commissioner  that she will work in partnership with  PDP Ward women  Leaders in the Local Government Area  to ensure massive mobilization of Women ahead of the 2023 elections.
