2023 Guber': Nya-Etok Advocates Progressive Politics

In line with his Social  Governance  ideologies which aim at creating a balance between the government and and governed through a bottom-to-top approach, the Visioner of Social Governance Ideologies, Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok has called for dynamics in the state politicking affairs ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The Social Governance Visioner speaking on the topic, "ideological politics and good governance" stated that with the dynamic of modifying the principle of selecting candidates through zoning round the three Senatorial Districts of the State, Akwa Ibom to make room for a better and well served State.

"We could look at the dynamics that will make us a better state, provide us with the sort of governance that we want instead of playing politics, going through the motions and people are dying by the day. You need to understand what government is and governance", Arc Nya-Etok stated during the "Nya-Etok 10 to 11 on XL 106.9FM" aired today, Wednesday in Uyo.

Being part of the live radio program, Mr Michael Bush who was of a varied opinion said, ideology for good governance is better in a way that, in saner climes, it brings about what everyone  is looking for. In the other hand, it is not important because no one is looking at ideology at the level of political party or that of the Presidency.

"The time has come for the agencies of the government at national and state level to try to raise the bar in public enlightenment, sensitize and educate our people that requesting for empowerment from politicians is not the way to play politics", Bush said.

Michael Bush further made a call for politicians to be called to order as they seem to be taking the people for a ride.

"There is a fundamental malaise and sickness with our people and this is not just Akwa Ibom thing but in the entire country. We need to call the political class to order. It is like they are taking us for a roller coaster ride", stated Michael Bush.
