The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has appointed Dr Aniekeme Aniefiok Uwah as her first ever Senior Country Representative for the Federal Democratic of Ethiopia. Prior to his recent appointment, Dr. Uwah, who is a distinguished Medical Doctor and Epidemiologist with an extensive international and local experience had served as a National Coordinator for Ethiopia of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) program, a flagship initiative of the Africa Centres for Disease Control (Africa CDC).
