SENATE 2023: "WITH ANIEKAN BASSEY, WE WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED" - Uyo Political Stakeholders.

 




The Political Stakeholders in Uyo LGA have expressed hope in the Candidature of Rt. Hon Aniekan Bassey for Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, noting that he is a man of good character and one that will attract development to the area. 


They made their stance known when Rt. Hon. Bassey, the Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 elections, joined the concluding Ward-to-Ward Campaign in Uyo LGA, on Wednesday.


The Senatorial Candidate appreciated the people for their commitment to the Party and promised to reciprocate the gesture with impactful representation, human capacity development and employment of the youths.


He also urged the people to go out en masse during February 25th and March 11, 2023 elections to vote all PDP Candidates into various positions from National to State. 


The Chapter Coordinator of the Umo Eno/Eyakenyi Campaign Council, Hon. Monday Eyo, appreciated the people of Uyo for their show of love and solidarity to PDP.


Stakeholders in Uyo LGA, which include the Executive Chairman of Uyo Local Government Council, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, PDP Chapter Chairman, Chief Tony Ekong; Ward Leaders, Elders, Women, Youths and other political stalwarts promised total votes for PDP.

Financial Impropriety, Abuse Of Power: AKHA Receives Petition Against Ikono Chairman

  The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly today during Plenary received a petition against the Council Chairman of Ikono, Hon. Otobong Essien, where the Councillors have accused her of misconduct in the discharge of her official duties.
