Ekwere thanked the Udom Emmanuel administration for the Dakkada Multipurpose Coorporative Society initiative which she said had taken the impact of governance to the hinterlands.

Other Chapter Presidents who spoke with this correspondent were full of praises to the Governor for Uwah's appointment, describing it as a square peg in a square hole. They expressed optimism that with Uwah in charge of Micro-finance and Enterprise Development in the state, better days are indeed here for Cooperative Societies in Akwa Ibom State.
