Itu Wards 3, 4, 5 Receive Ime Okon, PDP United Front Campaign Team




Political stakeholders of Wards 5, 4, and 3 in Itu LGA have resolved to vote the PDP Candidate for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ime Okon and other PDP Candidates as they have gotten their PVCs ready to cast votes in the forthcoming elections. 


The people expressed the readiness when the PDP United Front Campaign Council took their rally/tour to Wards 5 (Obong Itam), 4 (East Itam 2 - 'Uyo Itam') and 3 (East Itam 1) in Itu LGA on Monday, December 23, 2023.


In his speech, Obong Ime Okon expressed appreciation to the incumbent Member for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, Dr. Henry Archibong for embracing and supporting him with the willingness to handover the mantle to him.


He promised Itu and Ibiono Ibom, being two sister Local Government Areas of a stronger bond. He said with Unity which is his Campaign theme, more dividends will be drawn to the area through the collaboration of the Candidates of the United Front Campaign team. Obong Ime Okon admonished the people to be steadfast in their faith in PDP and not to be dissuaded by any guise. 


In their respective speeches, Dr. Henry Archibong, Hon. Kufreabasi Edidem and other PDP Stakeholders expressed confidence in the person of Ime Okon and other PDP Candidates to deliver effective leadership and democratic dividends to the people.

I am told that he was the engine room while he served in the State Assembly. "As the current House Of Representatives Member for Itu/Ibiono  Ibom Federal Constituency and with the experience I have in the National Assembly, I want to give you people the assurance that Rt. The PDP United Front is made up of the Presidential Candidate -Alhj Atiku Abubakar; Governorship Candidate - Pst Umo Eno; Uyo Senatorial Candidate - Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey; Candidate for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency - Rt. Hon. Ime Okon and Candidate for Itu State Constituency - Hon. Kufreabasi Edidem. 


All PDP stakeholders spoke in support of all the Candidates calling for votes for them in the 2023 general elections.
