Aniekan Bassey, has eulogized the selflessness of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, Obong Victor Attah, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and past leaders of the state, over the giant strides the state has achieved at 35.  Speaker Bassey stated this Friday, September 23, 2022, while delivering a goodwill message, during the celebration of Akwa Ibom at 35, at the Nest of Champion. No fewer than 50 women who are former stalwarts and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esit Eket have decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), today, sighting undemocratic practices,  victimization and lack of a future for the APC in the State.
