Etok while interacting with newsmen over the weekend at the ADC Secretariat also stated that the much touted zoning by the PDP was already faulty even as it was seen that other zones were fielding candidates when it was said not to be their turn to contest noting that the zoning policy of the PDP was even changed from ethnic to Senatorial district basis. "There has never been a time where Akwa Ibom people sat to talk about zoning. Zoning is a PDP policy not Akwa Ibom policy. It is not even the turn of Uyo Senatorial District to produce Governor. AKSG DECRIES INCREASED RATE IN CHILD THEFT AND TRAFFICKING…AS A’IBOM CHILDREN RECENTLY INTERCEPTED IN TWO STATES REUNITED WITH BIOLOGICAL PARENTS.

By Edet Okpo & Substance Nature  Akwa Ibom State Government has expressed serious concerns  over the increasing incidence of child theft and trafficking in the State, stating that unless parents and security agencies collaborate  with government more effectively by joining efforts and improving upon strategies at tackling the menace, more Akwa Ibom children of vulnerable age may be at the risk of being sold out or trafficked to unknown destinations.  Making the State Government's disposition public, the  Commissioner for  Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Dr. Ini Adiakpan, during facts finding  meeting at the Conference room of the Ministry on May 4, 2022, with the  Management Staff of the Ministry, Parents who had issues  in identifying their missing children recovered by Akwa Ibom State Government,  representatives of Security agencies, NAPTIP,  Advocacy group and the Media, made reference to a trending  case involving two Akwa Ibom children who were surreptitiously whisked

By Edet Okpo Again, the Media arm of the opposition forces  in Akwa Ibom State is on the prowl, trying frantically to take advantage of the recent commissioning of St. Gabriel's Coconut Refinery to continue their stock in trade - disparaging  and casting a slur on the personage and character of  Mr Udom Emmanuel, Governor of Akwa Ibom State. Contrary to the propaganda mischievously peddled  by some Critics of  Governor Udom Emmanuel's administration,  the Vice President's absence from the event had nothing to do with all the idiotic things written by idle media hirelings in the last two days. In fact, most of the falsehoods are too infantile and downright dumb to deserve a response.  For the avoidance of doub
