2023 Guber': I Am The Only Threat To PDP - Nya Etok

By Asuqup Edem

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Akwa Ibom State, Arc. Ezekiel Nya Etok has said that he is the only threat to PDP as the 2023 gubernatorial election approaches as he has respect and passion of Akwa Ibom citizens.

Arc. Etok while interacting with newsmen over the weekend at the ADC Secretariat also stated that the much touted zoning by the PDP was already faulty even as it was seen that other zones were fielding candidates when it was said not to be their turn to contest noting that the zoning policy of the PDP was even changed from ethnic to Senatorial district basis.
"There has never been a time where Akwa Ibom people sat to talk about zoning. Zoning is a PDP policy not Akwa Ibom policy. It is not even the turn of Uyo Senatorial District to produce Governor. Zoning has been peoples individual idiosyncrasy".

The renowned Architect revealed that his administration if elected, will be anchored on a four pronged agenda tagged as BAKE(Back to Obong Attah Model, Akwa Ibom For Akwa Ibom, Kingdom and finally Education).

Arc Etok argued that governorship should not be seen as reward but an opportunity to bring ideas to bare. "Office of the governor is that of a leader and not administration. Being a Commissioner does not mean you can think out solutions to people's problems and that is why we need someone who is a BAKER not a taker.
