Visibly impressed by his superlative performance,  huge investment in education, execution Of quality  infrastructural Projects across the three federal Constituencies Of Akwa Ibom South (Eket) Senatorial District,  as well as human capacity development and empowerment , the entire Students' structure in  Akwa Ibom South( Eket ) Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind Senator Ekong Sampson and unanimously endorsed him for a second term in office. 








Similarly, the Students also endorsed Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno,PhD and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in Office, While offering Prayers for the re-election Of the Nigerian Senate President, Distinguished Senator Godswil Akpabio, GCON by the good People Of Akwa Ibom North -West( Ikot Ekpene) Senatorial District during the 2027 general election.


In their separate motions and remarks,  the current Vice President, Students Union Government, University Of Uyo, Comrade Joy Bassey,  Chairman Of Students Stakeholders ' Forum in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, Comrade Prince Akpabio, former NAAKISS President,  University Of Uyo Chapter,  Comrade Abigail Job,  President, National Association Of Ikot Abasi Students,World wide, Comrade Aniekpon Isa, Public Relations Officer Of NANS Joint Campus Committee,Akwa Ibom State Axis, Comrade Aniedi Mbong, President, National Association Of Okobo Students, Comrade Gideon Ankwai, President, Female Students Association Of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Comrade Magaret Asukwo, Comrade Aniefiok Ezekiel and Comrade Jeremiah Alexander, were unanimous in acknowledging Senator Ekong Sampson's  outstanding performance in the Senate and significant milestones  in the education and overall welfare of students from  Akwa Ibom South Senatorial district.


Addressing the  Students gathering, the zonal Publicity Secretary Of National Association Of Nigerian Students, South South Zone and Chancellor Of Akwa Ibom South Students Forum, Comrade Usen Johnson expressed appreciation to Senator  Sampson for his  Committed efforts in providing scholarship,  I00 Million Naira educational grant for Students, attracting more than forty quality infrastructural Projects in the Senatorial district, adding that the Students Movement in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District were proud to endorse Senator Sampson for a Second term in Office, describing his commitment to education, Health and quality infrastructure as un-matched.



In their separate goodwill Messages, former Member Of Akwa Ibom State House Of Assembly, Onna State Constituency and Chairman, Senator Ekong Sampson Empowerment Program Committee, Họn. Barr. Ini Ikott, the Secretary Of Senator Ekong Sampson Empowerment Program Committee, Engr. Dr. Ben Edesenting,  commended Senator Ekong Sampson for prioritising investment in the education Of his Constituents and development Of  the entire Senatorial District with quality infrastructure and healthcare facilities.



The duo also appreciated the Students' Movement for their courage, goodwill, consistent Support and ingenuity, evidenced in the massive endorsements Senatorial Ekong Sampson is enjoying from the National, State and Senatorial District Students leadership strata.


Reacting to the recent endorsement, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Solid Minerals Development and Senator representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District,  who was taken unawares by the Students, distinguished Senator  Ekong Sampson, PhD, said hẹ received the endorsement with gratitude, describing it as an expression Of sincere gratitude and a token of appreciation Of his modest efforts in the education  advance lment Of the students within his Senatorial District.


Represented by the Director General Of his Campaign Organisation, Sir. Michael Essang,  Senator Sampson promised to continue representing  the  Senatorial District  with integrity, humility, honesty,  sincerity and good conscience, despite distraction from those who do not mean well for the Senatorial District.


According to Senator Sampson,  "I will continue to prioritise education, healthcare,  infrastructural development  and the welfare Of my constituents through disbursement Of business and education grants, empowerment , training and  facilitation Of employment in federal MDAs, Private and Corporate institutions, he said.


This latest endorsement is seen as a boost to the growing endorsements and consistent calls by prominent stakeholders and elders Of Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District,  including Rt. Hon. Chief Nduese Essien, Chairman, Eket Senatorial District Stakeholders Forum and former National Assembly Members,  Họn. Pat Ifon, Hon. Dr. Owoedighe Ekpotai , former  Managing Director Of NDDC, Sir Bassey Dan Abia, immediate Past Secretary to the State Government, Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem,  political leader Of Esit Eket Local Government Area,  Elder Benjamin Udobia,  former Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House Of Assembly and former Member Of the National Assembly, Rt. The Stakeholders recently prevailed On other leaders in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District to support the return of a committed and performing legislator like  Senator Ekong Sampson in order to ensure stability and sustained progress in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, noting that frequent turnover of lawmakers can weaken effective representation ,  performance and  discourage ranking which is key in Legislative business.
