  The political class, ward leaders and key stakeholders of Uruan Local Government Area have chosen the Senator-Elect for Uyo Senatorial District seat, Rt. Hon Aniekan Bassey, as the new Political Leader of the area.  This was on the heels of a motion moved by Pst Favour Okokon Ekpenyong and seconded by Mr. Emmanuel Atakpo during a celebration visit to the Senator-Elect on Monday at his Osongoma residence, Uyo.
