The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Mrs. Etiemma Umoh, today visited a widow with triplets, Mrs. Idorenyin Emmanuel Asanga, who tragically lost her husband shortly after childbirth.  During the visit, Mrs. Umoh made generous donations, including diapers, foodstuffs, and financial assistance, to support the family. Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly has passed a bill for a Law to establish the Akwa Ibom State Bureau for ICT, Innovation and Emerging Technologies (AKBICT). The passage followed the adoption of the report of the House Committee on Science and Technology presented by its Chairman, Hon Uduak Ekpo Ufot, during plenary on Thursday. In his report, Hon. The motion which was presented before the House by the member representing Etinan State Constituency, Hon. Uduak Ekpoufot titled "Urgent need to discourage lewd and inappropriate music content and advocate for the upholding of the Christian values that are endemic to Akwa Ibom State" unusually failed to get the backing of the Speaker and members.
