AKHA Clears Air On Technical Issues At The Complex...Insist It's Unconnected To Anticipated Commissioners List




The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has stated that the Technical issues presently being attended to at the Complex has absolutely nothing to do with  the House receiving the much anticipated Commissioners list from the State Governor Pastor Umo Eno.

Speaking to Assembly Correspondents today, the Chairman House Services Committee, Hon. Lawrence Udoide noted that technical faults was just a coincidence which the House was presently tackling to get it sorted out.

Hon. Udoide informed reporters that the House experienced issues with its visual and audio equipments which got shut down thereby impeding the House from holding Plenary last Thursday adding that while efforts were on to restore them, the House again faced issues with lighting.

Speaking further, Hon. Udoide who represents Ini State Constituency stated that the House had to laise with the team from the Ministry of Power who installed the Transformer to sort out Phase Balancing and sparks experienced at the complex..

He gave assurance that the Speaker, Rt Hon Udeme Otong is on top of the situation and has mandated him to ensure that the situation is handled and that the House will resumed Plenary immediately all issues are sorted out.

As at the time of filing this report, staff of the Works Department of the Assembly and the team sent from the Ministry of Power were at the Power Station of the Complex putting final touches to the issues
