SENATOR ANIEKAN BASSEY: DELIVERING RESULTS FOR UYO SENATORIAL DISTRICT

The recent interview with Rt. Hon. Dr. Dan Akpan, former Representative of Etinan Federal Constituency, has sparked a necessary, albeit uncomfortable, conversation about the quality of representation the people of Uyo Senatorial District receive at the National Assembly. Dr. Akpan's critique of the current Senator is harsh, unruly, and illusionary, and does not present a balanced perspective. His sweeping condemnation, painting the Senator as "silent," "missing," and "comfortable," ignores the concrete achievements that have positively impacted constituents from Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District.

Senator Aniekan Bassey's tangible contributions since taking office include the sponsorship of eight (8) bills and six (6) motions. He has also petitioned for the reinstatement of Dr. Ndem Ntuk at the Federal College of Education, Ididep, and Mr. Aniekan Umoh of Shell Oil Producing Company.
