By Aniefiok Christopher

A transformational leader and progenitor of the Mike Eduok Foundation, Dr Mike Eduok is optimistic that a holistic implementation of the ARISE Agenda mantra of Governor Umo Eno will lead to a robust harvest of massive prosperity that will turn Akwa Ibom State into an economic nerve centre in Nigeria.

Dr Eduok who doubles as the Convener of ARISE Agenda Spiritual Development Advocacy dropped the hint recently during a one day summit held recently at the Amunice Event Centre in Uyo.

The transformational leader at the summit graced by Archbishop Idem Ikon, Prelate Isaiah Issong and Rev (Mrs) Blossom Okorie, explained that ARISE Agenda is not a mere political mantra, but a livewire for the holistic transformation of the State, resting a tripod of political, economic and spiritual developments.

According to him, the Spiritual Advocacy is a movement arising to fulfill God's plan for Akwa Ibom State in the concept of the ARISE Agenda policy Governor Umo Eno, adding all creatures are rooted back to God, and without Him, none can succeed.

Quoting John 15:5, Dr Mike Eduok said without the spirit's energy, man can achieve nothing, asking the people to first of acknowledge the supremacy of the Most High God and then all other things, in tourism, business, agro-economy and innovation in technology will be in the frontline.

According to him, all humans have the potential to succeed, but must first of all ARISE to accomplish what is deposited in them by God. "It is He gives us the power to make wealth, to do purpose and accomplish the will of God" Dr Eduok hinted.

Presenting a paper on "Building Lasting Legacy of Growth" the President of Idem Ikon Foundation, Archbishop Idem Ikon said the political class must begin to think of Akwa Ibom in hundred years to come. Doing so he maintained will give the political class the mindset of growth and development of the State rather than focus on selfish tendencies.

The President General, Fathers of Faith for Good Governance, Prof Isaiah Issong described Pastor Umo Eno's emergence as Governor of Akwa Ibom State as a divine answer to the prayers of the Church community in Akwa Ibom State, who had over the years been praying for a righteous reign in the State.

According to him, the church must collectively work for the sustenance of the present administration beyond 2027, by mobilizing their members to work against the return of evil administrations in the State.

Quoting from Isaiah 60:1, the Chief Executive Officer of the Royalty Group, Prof Ebong Eno who spoke on ARISE Agenda Beyond Politics, said Akwa Ibom citizens must be ready to grab available opportunities beyond politics, acquire the capacity to sustain such opportunities, when it comes.

The Registrar, University of Uyo, Rev (Mrs)Blessing Okorie, who presented a paper on how to sustain our values and norms, said Africans must be watchful and guide against the erosion of our norms and ethics, which appears to be fading away due to the influence of the social media and technology.

Other Speakers at the knowledge packed summit were Dr Williams Mbuk, Senior Pastor of Victorious Family Worship Center, Eket and the Secretary of the International Worship Center, Rev Hilkiah Eliathah who all applauded the concept of adding a spiritual dimension to the ARISE Agenda policy of Governor Umo Eno, concluding that such will enhance God's blessings and prosperity to the State.
