Senator Aniekan Bassey Bids Farewell To Late Lady Veronica Akan




The Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District,  Senator Aniekan Bassey, on Wednesday, condoled with the former Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area,  Prince Anthony Akan, over the demise of his mother, Lady Veronica Ekpenyong Akan,  aged 81.


The Funeral Service, which was  conducted by St. Anthony Catholic Church, Bennet Bassey Street, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, took place at Government Primary School,  Mbiaya,  Uruan Local Government Area.

  Akwa Ibom State has been thrown into deep mourning and grief as the wife of the State governor has passed away.
