2019 Elections Postponed

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has postponed the General election earlier scheduled for today Saturday, February 16th, 2019. Earlier, Rotimi Oyekanmi, the chief press secretary to INEC’s chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, had informed newsmen that the commission had taken a decision after the crucial meeting attended by the chairman and 12 national commissioners.
According to him, “A decision has been taken, but you’d have to hear from the horse’s mouth.”
