The Akwa Ibom Petroleum Products Monitoring Committee (PPMC) has called on residents of the state to remain calm following the planned withdrawal of services by the state Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) scheduled for tomorrow thursday, August 7.
In an announcement issued to newsmen on tuesday night, PPMC Chairman, Hon Godwin Ekpo emphasized the committee's efforts to resolve the issue amicably.
Hon Ekpo, who said the Committee is working towards preventing disruptions, urged the public not to panic about the planned withdrawal, highlighting the PPMC's resolve to work towards preventing disruptions in petroleum product supply.
He also reassured Akwa Ibomites of the committee's readiness to ensure petroleum products availability in the State .
